Testimonials

We have recently started working with Nikos. As a family we were feeling disheartened by the lack of support available to our brother for his condition but thankfully we found Nikos. Our brother was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year and has had extensive treatment which has impaired the left side of his body. We were told by consultants and hospital staff that he would not be able to sit but within the first session he had with Nikos he was able to sit up.

Nikos has a truly unique approach that is both challenging and rewarding. At each  session he makes our brother achieve another goal which is extremely motivating and provides him with the positivity that he has failed to get from anyone else during his illness.

Nikos involves the whole family and we all feel a bit more confident and empowered to help our brother in between each session. We are so grateful to have found a physiotherapist with such a strong belief in helping people to heal themselves

Nikos came into my parents lives around a month ago. Mum had major heart surgery during which she suffered a stroke and dad has Parkinson’s which is rapidly getting worse.

Nikos comes to their home to treat them. He is making such a difference to them both mentally and physically, they look forward to his visits and practice the exercises between visits.

Nikos is trustworthy, incredibly kind, practical and so encouraging. I cannot believe the difference he is making to them both. They both have the confidence to push themselves that little bit more and I have no doubt Nikos is giving them longevity and quality back in their lives.

A total delight and I’m so glad we found him. Throughly recommend him to anyone that needs help.

Nikos is an excellent practitioner, inspirational and passionate about his job, I have no doubt that without Nikos, Brian would never have walked again.

At home in England the stroke consultant was shocked by the progress Brian had made in the 4 weeks before returning to England.

Brian and I very often say that, had he suffered the stroke in England he would never be where he is today.

David Walker

Nikos has been supporting Mrs Walker with physiotherapy to mitigate symptoms of Parkinson’s disease for about four months.

This is clearly beneficial both in terms of muscle control and strength and in state of mind.

Nikos is very professional and has a very positive attitude to the need for physical activity. He works through a range of physical activities on each visit and provides lifestyle guidance.

My stroke happened on 23-06-23 and left me bed ridden and unable to move my left hand or arm. I was obese and both knees need replacing. Having been told I was not eligible for NHS funded physio we set about sourcing a private physio. Luckily my search led me to Niko.

He is extraordinary, incredibly talented in his craft with a passion for helping people that I have never come across before. My recovery is ongoing but I can now use my hand and arm, stand from the bed and chair unaided and begin to take small steps with a stick. I have lost 25kg since we began working together and remain motivated to keep going.

If you need a neuro physio please don't hesitate to contact him. I promise, you will not regret it.

Nikos was head of physio in my father's rehabilitation facility, out of desperation the family contacted him. Nikos spoke in detail with the Patient, family, care home, commissioners & GP, reviewing all the care notes.

My father has not returned to the hospital since the start of the provision, is out of bed daily, assisted correctly by care staff, goes on trips, attends family meals, and sees his grandchildren regularly.
In my view, Niko’s expertise/ genius is matched only by his compassion and kindness.

There is a deep part of me that can not repay what he has done for our family and I will be eternally grateful for meeting him. I truly hope he can change your life like he has ours.

Andy & family

Nikos has been to my home for several sessions and so far, myself and my family are so impressed with his knowledge, his passion for his work and how he has treated me as a person.

I am continuing to work with Nikos for the foreseeable future and in a short space of time, he feels like a family friend, as well as a fantastic physiotherapist.

Me and my family would urge anybody (or cares for somebody) who has recently received a neurological/neuromuscular diagnosis, to get in touch with Nikos, as you won’t find better elsewhere.

The care and professionalism that Nikos has been giving to my husband has been second to none.

Following a catastrophic stroke 10 months ago, my husband was left with no mobility, almost complete paralysis on one side and his voice and thought processes were quiet and very slow.

Following other physio sessions, his recovery had not progressed much further than could be expected with time, but since Nikos has been working with him, he has his first aims and goals in over 10 months and is well on the way to achieving these.

We are starting to feel confident that the sort of recovery we could only imagine two months ago, is beginning to appear. My husband’s core strength is beginning to improve, his limbs are more supple and his voice is louder and stronger and his capacity to start and hold a conversation is much improved.

Nikos has so much knowledge and enthusiasm and makes my husband feel safe, while working him hard enough to see these first results, and he feels now that he is capable of more.

My husband Wayne had a stroke in 2021 causing left- sided paralysis. On discharge from hospital he had recovered some mobility in his left leg but his arm was very spastic. He could walk around the home independently and we hoped that with time he would improve even more.

Unfortunately over the following two years he gradually lost a great deal of his mobility, his general health deteriorated and it became very difficult for me to manage his care.

Because of the long waiting list for a community physiotherapist, I approached Nikos for help, we were immediately impressed with his passion, enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise.

After just a few sessions with Nikos my husband is already showing an improvement and his general health is better and with continued support from Nikos we are confident that in time he will regain more mobility and independence.   Nikos is cheerful, polite and professional and its always a pleasure to welcome him into our home. I have no hesitation in recommending Nikos for anyone who needs support from a brilliant Neuro-Physiotherapist.

My husband Andrew had experienced a stroke and has had three sessions with Nikos and the most important feature of those three sessions is that he has given Andrew hope. From being virtually unable to stand Andrew can now stand and manoeuvre his body more readily.

Nikos is a very different physiotherapist - He is entertaining, innovative, very experienced, presents exercises in an interesting, stimulating way and sets high standards. Above all he exudes the motivation to trust him for the future. I’m glad that we discovered Nikos and I am sure that he is the right person to do the very best for my husband.

I have received physio from Nikos for the last three weeks. In October last year, I suffered from a bleed on the brain and a stroke. I was discharged from hospital in less than four weeks and received my last NHS physio a week later. I was suffering from an arm and hand that were almost useless and very little movement in my right shoulder.

My physio from Nikos has been amazing resulting in movement in my arm, hand and shoulder. The treatment is intense and sometimes painful but is well worth the discomfort as my life is now more bearable and hopeful. There is more treatment to come but Nikos is very engaging and professional. I would recommend him to anyone requiring physio.
